The post

The smear that shows up at night

The film

Traffic leaves a sticky coat on the outside of the glass: exhaust, road grime, wax, and washer fluid. A normal window spray often smears that coat. This cleaner is made to lift oil film, grease, and smudges off automotive glass.

The wipe

Spread it on the glass, leave it for the time in the instructions, then wipe it off. The formula is meant to clean the glass without scratching it and without leaving its own residue.

Night driving

That coat is what turns headlights into a smear in the rain. Clearing it is supposed to cut the glare and make the windshield easier to see through in rain and fog.

Where it goes

Use it on the windshield, the side windows, and the mirrors. Skip plastic headlight lenses and any aftermarket window tint. Those are not the glass this cleaner is for.
